Prototype d'hydrolienne HydroQuest

As a leader in the French tidal energy sector, HydroQuest has developed a marine turbine prototype capable of generating electrical energy, which has operated flawlessly for two years at the Paimpol Bréhat test site in Brittany.

Located in the Cotentin Peninsula of Normandy, the tidal stream at Raz Blanchard possesses one of the strongest energy potentials in the world, with a capacity exceeding 4 GW. In this context, CMN is collaborating with QAIR and HydroQuest on the Flowatt pilot farm project, for which the company is responsible for manufacturing the 7 tidal turbines to be installed at Raz Blanchard.
