History

Almost a century ago, CMN was born

under the impetus of aeronautics pioneer Félix Amiot, who wanted to move into shipbuilding.

Over the decades, CMN has built up an international reputation for its emblematic “Combattante”, a fast surface vessel some 50 meters long, capable of speeds in excess of 40 knots and equipped with a comprehensive combat system.

Faced with the emergence of new land protection issues, CMN has stepped up its research program to develop new products even faster.

True to its reputation as a trailblazer, CMN recently met a major challenge in terms of innovation and performance, when it flew the fastest interceptor in its class, the HSI 32.
